I´ve been looking for freedom

here part I of the photos I took during last weeks trip to the German capital :-)
It was my third time in Berlin and although I like it there and always wanna return as there is so much more to do there and explore, I´m still not in love with the city and doubt that I will be...
Do you have cities which you regularly visit, like but not love?

"everyday" (part 11)

sorry, I´m late - again! But I had a very busy and exciting last week walking around Berlin so excuse my absence, I´m back in the saddle now :-)

12. - 18. March

12.3. sat in the sun in the forest listening to two woodpeckers working hard
13.3. tried a chili-cheese burger at Burgerladen - will eat the classic one again next time
14.3. saw "Die Letzten" in theatre in Wiesbaden
15.3. returned an opened and played DVD box set to the shop as the sleeve said "English subtitles" but the actual DVD didnt have any - got the refund without any issue
16.3. contemplated some really really weird and stressful travel plans just to be able to shoot another wedding
17.3. cut an apple into slices for two small girls (sounds mundane but I have never done this before)
18.3. discovered a new plant in my beloved botanical garden in Mainz

Der Duft der Dinge

Choreographie, Buehne, Kostuem: Guiseppe Spota/ Stephan Thoss
Theater: Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden
Premiere: 15.2.2014

Inhalt:

zwei kleine Italiener

Spring has sprung early this year, the sun is shining, many people are outside for their lunch break.
A car drives by with it's windows down...a BMW, looking more gangster than happy soul.
He has loud music playing...

...the best moments are clearly the unforeseen and slightly absurd ones.

"everyday" (part 10)

and more first times...

5. -11. March

5.3. ate some home-made avocado and lime cake - seems I have found a use for avocados at last
6.3. lost my diamond necklace while swimming :-(
7.3. seen the ferret we once named "Großwurst" in his new enclosure at Fasanerie in Wiesbaden (years ago we saw one, medium sized, and spontaneously called him "Salami"...then a small one showed up and following the logic I named him "Bifi"...well the third one was bigger so my husband with his German skills decided on "Großwurst")
8.3. sniffed an almond tree in bloom to see what I missed by not travelling to Mallorca this spring
9.3. had pre-birth couple photo shoot in the most glorious weather possible
10.3. seen "Grand Hotel Budapest" in a cute and oldfashioned independent cinema in Mainz
11.3. went to Speyer by train and visited the current Playmobil exhibition there
