3 days in Stockholm

Growing up with Astrid Lindgren's wonderful books and films, Sweden always has been on my "to-travel-list".
Now this wish has become true, we spent three days in the Swedish capital of Stockholm and were amazed:
beautiful architecture, the strongest coffee I have ever drunk on every corner, friendly people and the prices on a very average level (well, coming from London this is). Thinking about moving now ;-)
Here is the first batch of photos (unfortunately the Northern November light made everything looking pretty drained)

  3. Good to hear that Stockholm is not as crazy expensive as suspected.
Being a big fan of the Great British Bake-off (BBC2), I recognized the prinsesstarta on the last picture :)

    1. haha, I LOVE the Great British Bake-Off.
There is nothing more relaxing and at the same time excitingly entertaining (last season had more suspense than Downton Abbey season 5) than watching others bake tricky things (and Paul Hollywood looking the contestants deep in the eyes...) That's where I got interested in the prinsesstarta as well :-)

  4. Toll!
