It was my first visit and my first impression wasn´t very good - the city seemed dirty and run down, the main shopping area just interchangeable with every other high street.
But then we walked to the harbour in order to visit the SS Great Britain, the first iron ship that crossed the atlantic built by the famous Isambard Brunel. From then on it improved a lot, the glorious sunny weather helped too!
So next time we are in the area we will definitely give Bristol another chance.
Oh ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass Bristol so enttäuschend ist. Eine Serie die ich ganz gerne sehe wurde dort gedreht und da machte Bristol jetzt nicht so einen schlechten Eindruck auf mich. Ich würde zumindest ganz gerne mal die bunten Totterdown Häuser live sehen.
